Two Busy Weekends!!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful day with your loved ones. I guess we kind of celebrated Valentines last weekend when we went out to see one of our favorite bands Emory Quinn. We had never seen them before but had both of their CD's and LOVE them!! When we got to the place there weren't a bunch of people and there was an opening band playing so we were all standing around the pool tables in the back. And there were a few other groups of people hanging out back there too. Angela and I went to go get a table because the show was about to start. Everyone else came to sit down and they started setting up for Emory Quinn. Brian was sitting there and he said, "I was just talking to that guy in the back and telling him how much we liked this band-- I sure hope that guy's not in the band or I'm going to feel like an idiot." Well low and behold there was the guy that Brian was talking to and he was putting on his guitar on stage-----Yep not only was he in the band it was Clint--- the lead singer!!! Brian and I got a good laugh out of that one. The concert was awesome ---even better than we thought and the greatest part was Brian and Clint met up again in the bathroom ( :) nice huh) after and Brian was like thanks a lot man-- I felt like a fool!! But he was really humble and said he felt silly saying well duh man I'm in the band--hilarious! We got to hang out with him for a while after and he was the NICEST guy!! He told us we had to come see them again soon and there is no doubt we will be doing that. What a great way to spend a Saturday night!! Now on to this past weekend. We spent our weekend at the ranch with a bunch of people we really love (appropriate since it was Valentines Day!) so it was a great time for us. It was us, Chad and Stephanie, Leslie and Dustin, Skippy, Will and Roxanne and their little girl Kennedy. We just hung out and enjoyed the awesome weather and ate WAY TOO MUCH!! I had yesterday off so we stayed an extra night with Will, Roxanne and Kennedy. It was nice to get to spend some time with just them because Boone really got to noticing Kennedy and I really think he was flirting with her and then showing off in an attempt to get her attention. She is such a sweet girl--and SO happy! She would sing and smile and I'm not sure we ever really heard her cry all weekend. Brian and I both said that after being around her all weekend we would love to have a little girl next. I can't imagine how different a girl would be because Boone is just a wild man all the time. But then again that just might be the genes he got stuck with! :) Will and Roxanne have done a really great job with her and they seem to be doing great ---we are so happy for them! We can't wait until the next time we get to see them all. Hope you all had a great weekend too and until next time.......love you all!!

Boone trying to fill his Daddy's shoes--notice that his right one is backwards :)

Ok now we got them going the right way

But oh that face says it all.....just a little more growing up to do!!

Last Saturday we went to see Emory Quinn---best show ever!!!

The guys singing

We had a great night!!! It's so good to get out every once in a while :)

I love this one because we are both singing our guts out--- hilarious!!

I'm not sure what this look means but I love it-- Steph you are too funny!

Me, Clint and Brian

Boone being a gross boy----EWWWWWW

Boone in his new chair from Gi Gi and Grand Daddy

Don't bother me guys--- I'll be reading my book in my chair
Aunt Leslie and Aunt Stephanie wanted to see what my hair looked like in a ponytail--Daddy did not like this at all (we started calling him Bam Bam after this)

Zoe came to ride in my wagon with me--Callie wanted to get in too but there was no room!

Then I got pigtails---ha ha this one makes him look like a girl!

Going for a ride outside--- I love my awesome wagon (thanks Dustin, Les and Steph for putting it together for me!)

Boone was so worn out he fell asleep in the highchair at lunch

Will and sweet little Kennedy (don't you just love this hat!?!)

All bundled up for a ride in the high rack

Will and his bobcat-- Roxanne shot one not 2 minutes after we took this picture but we ran out of film---Sorry Roxanne!!

Boone discovered he could crawl up on the rocks

So a whole new game began--luckily he figured out how to crawl down too-- thank goodness!! (Don't you just love that face)

Then he was running around with the basket on his head---these are some of the many tricks he was showing off with for Miss Kennedy

Boone, Roxanne and Kennedy
(wouldn't they make cute babies?! we might have a future arranged marriage) :)

I think Kennedy and Boone will make a cute couple! But not too soon. It sounds like y'all had a really fun time, also at the concert. I'm glad you and Brian get to go do things like that, and have places to go. We Love you, Boone, thanks for being so patient with your Mom so we can all enjoy the many pictures of you and your busy day Love, GiGi

I'm sure Kennedy would love a future with a man running around with a basket on his head!
Glad to hear Boone is feeling better. I love your big chair that GiGi and Brian gave you
Have a good week
