Well we had a REALLY busy week but along with a crazy, busy schedule we managed to have A LOT of fun!! Tuesday I took the day off to take Boone in to see our ENT. I have to say I'm not a huge fan of the guy (of course it could have something to do with the fact that we waited to see him for 2 hours! And yes it was right in the middle of Boone's nap and lunch time--and to top it off he spent MAYBE 5 minutes with us--but as you can see I'm not bitter at all!) but he is supposed to be one of the best around and so for Boone's sake I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. So after our brief 5 minute meeting we decided that tubes are the best option for Boone so on November 12th (which is Meg's birthday so I'm thinking it will bring us some good luck) we will be going in to get them. I am extremely nervous but I have to keep thinking that this will bring him so much relief and hopefully we wont have any more trouble with his ears or the tubes for that matter. If you could please keep him in your prayers in the days leading up to his surgery and of course the day of we would be so grateful. And maybe some prayers for my sanity if you have some to spare! :) So after the ENT visit Boone and I had the afternoon to hang out and play and it was a gorgeous day so we went to the park to try out Boone's new swing. It is his Christmas present from his Aunt Leslie and Uncle Dustin but he got it early so we could use it while the weather is so nice. Thanks Leslie and Dustin---Boone LOVES it so much!! I have a short video at the bottom but it was so windy and the camera was trying to zoom in and out to follow him and it was starting to make me a little sick so I had to stop. But he kind of slides down in the seat and just chills with a big ol smile on his face. It's really cute! Then Wednesday Brian had to go to Dallas and didn't get back until late Thursday so that always makes for longer days but we had a good time just hanging out. Friday Dana, Allison and I met up at the pumpkin patch to take pictures of the "three-bies"--as Allison named them. It was so much fun watching the three of them and how they react to each other. Boone is so funny because he was just sitting there taking it all in--almost oblivious to everything going on around him. It was a really fun day with all of them. There are a TON of pictures because I couldn't decided on my favorites. So enjoy them all! Saturday we had a really busy day--the morning was calm and slow so that was really nice. At 3 we went to Boerne to Jack's 5th birthday. We are good friends with his parents Dan and Cheryl and they are the cutest kids so we couldn't miss out on his party and besides it was a bowling party so we had to go!! Boone got to bowl his first frame and he did pretty good--except for trying to chase after the ball down the lane. Good thing Brian was there to stop him! Then we went over to one of my kids from last year, Zayne's flag football game. Man those kids are INTENSE!! It was so much fun and also eye opening to what is in our future I'm sure. Zayne did awesome and I'm pretty sure his team won--we really had a great time. After that we headed back to San Antonio because our neighbors Paul and Sarah were having a kids Halloween party. We didn't dress Boone up---it had been a long day already and I'm not so sure he's a huge fan of his costume, but we did go down and see all of the other kids and they were really cute! They had a pinata and everyone insisted that Boone take a turn so we went out and swung at it a few times......Brian thought it was hilarious! We spent the rest of the evening visiting with the other parents then went and played in the grass. Boone isn't quite sure what to make of it yet but it's cute to watch him squirm. Yesterday we had another peaceful morning--Brain and I were able to nap both days---HALLELUJAH!!! Then yesterday afternoon we got loaded up and headed out to take our family pictures. We went out to the photographers house--she has a lot of really neat places for pictures. I'm sure they will turn out cute but Boone was not his normal smiley self so we will see. After that we went out to eat and had a great family dinner just enjoying each other then headed home to put out little man to bed. It was a really nice weekend with just the 3 of us. I find myself just loving my boys more and more and enjoying my sweet little family so much!! Hope you all had a good weekend too ---except for that shitty Tech football game. Sorry for the curse word but that's the nicest thing I can say about it right now! Have a good week and Tech you better get it together because I am not driving all the way to Lubbock this weekend to watch you CHOKE!!!
